There are plenty of Memorial Day weekend things to do in Florida May 27, 28, 29, 30, 2016 - like the Jacksonville Jazz Festival! It's "all that jazz" all in one place and has become a jazz tradition in these parts. Check it out May 26 - 29 in J-ville. Even closer to Florahome, you can enjoy the Blue Crab Festival just up the road in Palatka. That would be May 27th - 30th. Other Memorial Day things to do in Florida May 27, 28, 29. 30, 2016 include Country 500 - The Great American Music Fest in Daytona Beach, The 1st annual “DOWNTOWN BASH” in Punta Gorda,... or what about the "Follow The Sun" Music Festival in St. Augustine. In Orlando it's MegaCon. That should be MEGACON!!! Kirk out. And of course Tampa's got their Sunset Music Festival. (This is NOT a big band event). Finally, Memorial Day is all about celebrating the lives of this nation's very best. Here are a few Thanksgiving weekend things to do in Florida November 27, 28, 29, 2015 starting with the FishHawk Turkey Trot. Seeds of Hope, Inc in Lithia and their annual race exemplify the spirit of the season and set a great example of how to get the holidays started off on the right foot. Of course if you're a turkey, the 42nd Annual Daytona Turkey RUN might be more your speed. Other things to do in Florida November 27, 28, 29, 2015 remind us that this is also the season for making stuff. Many of us tend to get a little craft crazy this time of year but there are those who know their stuff and some who really beg for tougher glue gun legislation. How about West Palm Beach where you'll find the 30th Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show scheduled for March 26th through the 29th. In Tavares, FL you may also encounter the vessel of your dreams at the Sunnyland Boat Festival running March 27 - 29. Bon voyage! Other things to do in Florida March 27, 28, 29, 2015 will get you out of the house and into Spring in a different way - like the 9th Annual Florida Wildflower and Garden Festival in DeLand. Where else can you get down and dirty and be "environmentally-friendly" at the same time? Don't answer that. If you're looking for things to do in Florida November 28, 29, 30, 2014 you may see some familiar faces this coming weekend. Remember those creative kids in preschool who could make the teacher light up with nothing more than a crayon? Well they're back and dazzling us once again with their big box of Crayolas. Not far from Florahome you'll find the 49th Annual St. Augustine Fine Art and Craft Festival offering everything from jewelry to mixed media. Even at the beach, it's clear the creative mind can turn even sand into a masterpiece. The 28th Annual American Sand Sculpting Championships at Fort Myers Beach ends November 30th so don't miss it. Included in the list this week are one or two things to do in Florida even before November 28, 29, 30, 2014. As advertised, the Fish Hawk Turkey Trot is scheduled for the 27th and the 41st Annual Turkey Run, runs November 27 - 30. Turkeys are best advised to run this time of year. Lastly, tis the season to be Jolly and the jolly old man himself will be making appearances in Panama City Beach, Destin, and quite a few other locations around the state so chances are you will spot Santa at one of the listed things to do in Florida November 28, 29, 30, 2014.
