M is for "Mother’s Day in the Garden" where mothers and grandmother alike can enjoy a stroll through Naples Botanical Garden for free! O is for the Orlando Predators and your arena football fanatic mom with the claw tatoo. The Predators take on the Arizona Rattlers May 7th. T is for Tea - as in, "Mother's Day Victorian Tea" May 7th at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida in Valparaiso. H is for the Historic Apalachicola Home & Garden Tour. Enjoy the 24th year of this area favorite, May 6th and 7th. E is for Everglades of course. It's Florida. It's also "Alice in the Everglades" a new take on the Lewis Carroll tale from Ballet Atlantica set for May 7th at the Lake Worth Playhouse. Finally, R is for rivers. Things to do in Florida March 4, 5, 6, 2016

Topping this list of things to do in Florida March 4, 5, 6, 2016 is the 6th Annual Northeast Florida Veg Fest. It's fun, it's organic and it's happening at Riverside Park, March 5th in Jacksonville, FL. Mushrooms for the masses! Other things to do in Florida March 4, 5, 6, 2016 include the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plants City, the Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire and Pirate Festival in Pensacola, Searle’s Sack of St. Augustine only about an hour drive from Florahome, ... and don't forget the 70th Annual Florida Azalea Festival over in Palatka is also this coming weekend. Finally, what would Florida be without water? It's a trick question,... it would be dry. There would also be no Florida Water Festival and that would truly be a shame. It's the perfect blend of art, food and entertainment in an equally inspiring setting. Mark your calendar now, February 6 - 7 for a weekend of family friendly fun. Other things to do in Florida February 5, 6, 7, 2016 include the 2016 Treasure Coast Pirate Fest in Fort Pierce, the Florida State Fair in Tampa, Mardi Gras in Lake Wales and what about the Lake Apopka Wildlife Festival & Birdapalooza Birding Weekend. There are plenty of Holiday things to do in Florida December 4, 5, 6, 2015 starting with the 61st Annual St. Augustine Christmas Parade. The oldest city is at her glorious best this time of year and luckily we're close enough in Florahome to enjoy the show. Along with several more Christmas parades, other things to do in Florida December 4, 5, 6, 2015 include the 27th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes in Sanford, Miracle on 34th Street playing at the Athens Theatre in Deland and in Jacksonville you'll find the Gingerbread House Extravaganza welcoming fans from December 2nd thru the 23rd. It's a scientifically proven fact that gingerbread has a profound effect on the frontal Yuletide cortex region of the brain. When looking for things to do in Florida June 5, 6, 7, 2015 you know spring is is losing its step and summer hasn't kicked in yet. That means the 22nd Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival and the 61st Annual Chiefland Watermelon Festival are happening on the same day. So take your pick and live it on the edge. Speaking of edge, those cutthroats who invaded St. Augustine back in the day will be trying there luck again this coming weekend with the 28th Annual Re-enactment of Sir Francis Drake’s Raid. Pirate buffs can also catch the Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival in Fort Walton Beach June 4 - 6. Other timely things to do in Florida June 5, 6, 7, 2015 include the 3rd Annual School’s Out Local Food and Music Festival in Gainesville, the 16th Annual Philippine Summer Festival in West Palm Beach and of course The GARTH BROOKS World Tour with TRISHA YEARWOOD one stop in Tampa. It's about time huh? Finally, there are two,... wait, what? Yes there are TWO Comic Cons going on this coming weekend.
