Some of the events offered in this week's 'Things to do in Florida Dec 31, 2010 and Jan 1, 2, 2011' list have been going on a while now, but the window of opportunity is closing fast so if you haven't yet had the chance, this will be your last one before all those holiday lights are put away until next year. The rest of the list is dedicated to that new year and when and where to kick it off right here in Florida. It's a fairly long list, but still only a small sample of all the parties and games that will be going on all over the state. When it comes to sports, Florida serves it on a platter from Jacksonville to Miami and that goes for the celebrating as well.
