Among the many things to do in Florida Feb 4, 5, 6, 2011 - please remember to spend some quality time with your pet or if you don't have one, to consider adopting one of Florida's many animals in need of a good home. Florida Week for Animals begins February 5th to remind residents how special our pets and other animals are in our lives and to take time to fully appreciate them. You can find more information on Florida's Week for Animals on Florahome USA's Bulletin Board and there are also some great pet related links in the Link Library. Other animal related things to do in Florida for Feb 4, 5, 6, 2011 could include a trip to the zoo, or maybe a visit to one of the many animal related attractions in Florida such as Busch Gardens in Tampa, Disney's Animal Kingdom or even one of Florida's oldest animal attractions The St. Augustine Alligator Farm not far from Florahome. Florida also has many beautiful State Parks which not only host a variety of events throughout the year - like last weekend's Yesterday Festival at Gold Head State Park but also offer a chance to learn more about nature and the animals native to Florida. Another thing to be grateful for in Florida this week is the fact that we can actually do other things besides shovel snow and can even watch the Super Bowl on the beach if we want. That's why Florida is also famous for another animal not even close to being on the endangered list - snowbirds. Here are a few more things to do in Florida Feb 4, 5, 6, 2011.
