Florahome

Florahome USA (the blog) now has a library and a community center. It's really more of a link library, but soon there should be enough reading material and other useful and fun stuff to be a pretty decent substitute. The community center will basically be for any announcements or events in the area that need posting. At least that was the idea this morning. Also, since this blog is called Florahome USA, it should have a flag, so a flag has been added at the top. It's actually an animated gif and meant to wave, but that requires more time than is available right now. The flag is from WebWeaver (not a local resident) so if you need some free graphics, head on over there. Florahome USA is pretty quiet right now, but that does have its advantages - for one thing, its a lot easier to put up a library. Florahome USA is kinda like the Florahome weather,... if you don't like it, it will probably change in the next few minutes. So if there's something here you don't like, just stop in again some other time -you may not even recognize the place.

Florahome has a Blog!

Yes it's true, Florahome has its very own blog now called Florahome USA. It was just listed in the Google blogs. That's one good thing about being the only blog in town - you get listed right up there at the top. Getting us up there on the first search results page won't be as easy, but it'll get there. A link has been added on the Business page, but hopefully that will only be a start. In case you haven't visited Peacock's Nursery on Facebook, they have a nice page you should check out. For those who don't have their own page, just consider Florahome USA your home page.

Florahome USA

Florahome USA will be like the island on the TV series, 'Lost' until people find it on Google or maybe Yahoo. This means a lot of rambling on about Florahome USA to get us on the map, but once people do begin to find it, the word will probably get around. You might call this the Grand Opening for Florahome USA, or maybe just a wave from the front porch. Anyway, it's on the web now so we'll see how it goes. As you can see, Florahome USA is not too formal, - it's just a friendly little country blog and if you enjoy it, your support would be appreciated. If you haven't checked out the gas and weather page, it's a convenient place on Florahome USA to keep track of the weather and the gas prices. Nothing on Florahome USA is set in stone - since this is our home on the web, we should be able to move the furniture around or paint the barn purple if we get the notion. Anyway, don't be surprised if Florahome USA tears down a wall or two on a whim. There's no telling what it will be like from day to day - this is really just an experiment but maybe it will be less boring that way. Well there are still a few things that need doing to do to get this show on the road, so have a look around, make yourself at home and welcome to Florahome USA.
