Still plenty of things to do in Florida January 6, 7, 8, 2012 beginning with an event designed not only to help burn off those Christmas and New Year's calories, but to lend a hand to animals in need as well. Sponsored by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, the 'Run for the Animals and Family Fun Day' at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Florida is a great way for you and your family to kick off the new year. Other things to do in Florida January 6, 7, 8, 2012 include some of Florida's premier art shows, such as 'Downtown Naples New Year's Weekend Art Fair' as well as the '24th Annual Las Olas Art Fair' in Fort Lauderdale Jan 7th and 8th. These and other art shows make it one of best times for viewing some of the finest creations you'll see in Florida all year. Many music events are also on the list this week featuring legendary artists such as the one and only Johnny Mathis appearing in Melbourne and Naples, FL. Even a rare pair of kings will take the stage with blues guitarist B.B. King in Fort Myers, FL while "The King of Rock and Roll" himself, Elvis the Pelvis Presley receives dazzling birthday tributes in various location in the state. Lastly, for those in and around the Daytona Beach area this weekend, this list of things to do in Florida January 6, 7, 8, 2012 is a very short list indeed.
